Many people know the school store; some people hate it, some people love it. But one thing that is agreed upon is that the school store is overpriced.
An example of how overpriced it is that the pretzels at the school store are 3$ each, this is quite overpriced considering that at Walmart.com, the top product is 6 pretzels for $3.46: 26.6 cents per pretzel, meaning that the school store sells them for 11 times more than what the usual retail price is. Many students dislike this, for example, we have Tyler Waddell, a senior, who said: “yeah that’s a big difference in price then.” This shows that you should always know the worth of what your buying. There is also the problem of that some people find it overwhelming, a student who is an example of this is Shy Tevei who said; “I like it but sometimes it can be overwhelming because it’s loud.”
A way that we can change this is by getting our school store to switch from buying from Sam’s Club to buying from Walmart because at Sam’s Club it is 29.4 cents per pretzel there, so it would most likely be much cheaper for the school; thus lowering the prices of the pretzels.
