The Carter High School Girls volleyball team for the 2026/2027 school year. Tess Watson, a Junior on the volleyball team stated,”It was a good season and she loves getting to play with her friend and build new friendships”. There is a big opportunity for every player to not only grow in their sport but to grow friendships and bonds with each other through their sport.
The volleyball program at CHS has been around for 19 years. The volleyball team only lost 4 district games this season and even won one set against Central, which the whole season they only had one other team do that.
A senior on the volleyball team Chloe Rouse said,”The volleyball season had some ups and downs, but it isn’t about winning and losing, it’s about playing with the girls I love the most!” A lot of the girls had to play a different position this season and they had to do a lot of adjusting to the way that they play.
