The movie ¨Buddy¨ is a movie that is kind of strange, at first you think it´s an innocent movie about kids and the unicorn but then it gets disturbing, it´s a good horror movie because it is unpredictable. Buddy is a strange, creepy, and a funny horror movie that keeps the audience guessing, although some parts feel rushed and unfinished. A child named Josh refuses to dance with Buddy so Buddy kills him and replaces him with a new kid. Freddy found Josh´s book that was covered in blood and she realizes that Buddy has been lying and is dangerous, she teams up with Wade and her talking backpack to find out how Buddy actually is. In the real world a mother has glitched memories and realizes her family is connected to missing children, her daughter is Freddy. Buddy is a 2026 horror-comedy directed and co-written by Casper Kelly, he is known for creating strange and surreal comedy, including Adult Swim Short and Too Many Cooks. In Buddy, he takes the style of 1990s children’s television and turns it into a dark and disturbing horror story. The movie shows children trapped inside the world of a fictional kids T v show starring Buddy, a bright orange unicorn who becomes dangerous when the children refuse to follow his rules. One of the strongest parts of Buddy is how unpredictable it is. The audience might think they know where the story is going but the movie shows unexpected events. The movie also does a good job of combining humor with horror. Some moments are strange and funny while others are disturbing which gives the movie a different turn. Buddy is also an interesting character because him being colorful and friendly makes his behavior more disturbing. One negative thing I can say is that some parts of the movie feel rushed or uninfished, it moves from one subject to another so quickly that some parts of the movie don’t make sense. My overall judgment of the Buddy movie is that it´s a good movie for people that like horror movies to get straight to the point, and a movie that isn´t predictable or to guess what is going to happen. This movie does feel rushed because how fast it moves onto a different subject so fast so I rate the movie a three out of five
