Prestan Thomas is a fourteen year old freshman and loves to cook and create new things. He is a computer nerd and also a gamer. He corrects other students when they mispronounce a word. He has to be one of the most unique people I have ever met. I have seen with my own eyes him making cool objects out of just paper. He has done origami and has made a balloon and boat. He is the only person I have known to say the word “beans” at least twenty times a day. He is a very good gamer though he loves to play fortnite and has a youtube channel. He is one of the students of Ms. Wade’s cooking class.
They talk and watch presentations about mental health and teen pregnancy in this class also. There have been multiple times he brings food home for me and my nanny to taste and it is always something good. They have made red lobster cheddar biscuits and easy beef goulash. This week they are making vegetarian pizza. When they are not watching or cooking anything they have been doing crossword puzzles. Ms. Wade has told her students that she wants them to succeed in life and she shows them how to cook less simple foods because she wants them to be prepared when they are on their own in the future. Prestan had told Ms. Wade on Friday, November 5th 2021, “Ms. Wade, your class is probably one of the best classes that I’ve ever had”.
