Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a long-awaited movie by audiences all around. This movie has such a good vibe and story to it, but the movie itself feels like a filler movie to fill in the wait time for other upcoming movies. However, there is a very important scene towards the end that links to the upcoming movies. There is so much going on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now and so many upcoming films and shows that fans are very excited and thankful for. This movie is the most recent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and if you get the chance to watch this movie, there are so many notes that you need to take and remember for upcoming movies, so it is literally a must-see.

This movie takes place after the first Venom movie and before Marvel Studios’ Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home, this movie featured many production companies like Columbia Pictures and Marvel Entertainment but Sony Pictures Entertainment is the company that released the movie, which featured Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson.

 In Venom: Let There Be Carnage, main character Eddie Brock struggles to live normally and get along with alien symbiote Venom, while trying to deal with a situation with a serial killer, Cletus Kasady, who eventually becomes a host for Venom’s spawn Carnage, who gives Cletus Kasady more of an advantage to take revenge on the people who have done him wrong, including Eddie Brock. 

I think this movie is very astonishing with amazing animation and effects all throughout the movie, the storyline was a bit complex but it was understandable, interesting, and attention-holding, also another thing they did well in this movie was how they dived deeper into the characters’ pasts and how all the characters related through rough pasts and alike trauma, it’s hard to throw hard topics, like traumatizing childhoods, into movies, but they made it work nicely and this showed why each character had the motivations they had, so it made the movie and characters easier to understand, and also I think they did a great job at throwing in clues for upcoming Marvel Studios movies. The whole movie did kind of feel like a time filler movie to entertain fans while they wait for the bigger upcoming films that are coming out later in the year and early next year, and another thing in the movie that might be confusing to some is some pop culture references, for example, my parents didn’t like the film too much because of the references. Overall I loved the movie despite the rushedness and fast pace of it, it was very enjoyable to watch with my family and I would definitely recommend this to everyone. I would rate it a 9.5/10.
