The movie Penguin Bloom is a good movie because it shows how something can affect your life and how you can find a way to work around it. There was a great message about how to live your life to the absolute fullest. It shows heartwarming emotion throughout the entire film. The movie Penguin Bloom is based on a family who lives in Australia and the story of how their lives changed. In the movie the Bloom family was on a vacation when their mom was looking over the balcony, and suddenly fell over. She messed her spinal cord up and became paralyzed. After the accident the family was traumatized and had to change their lives in order to get back to a sense of normality. The mom went through a lot when she had her accident and became depressed because she couldn’t be there for her family like she wanted to. She had to learn how to remake her life the best it can possibly be while being in a wheelchair. One day as her kids and her husband went to the beach, her oldest son stumbled across a magpie that was injured and couldn’t fly. The mom did not like the bird at first and thought it should heal on its own at the beach and not at the house. Penguin, the name of the bird, found its way into the mom’s heart and they inspired each other to heal and make each other happy. Penguin inspired her to come out of the depressive state she was in and taught her how to become happy and do things for her family. She returned the favor to Penguin and slowly made it stronger by helping it practice around the house. Penguin and the mom grew an inseparable bond and inspired each other. The movie opened up memories that they could finally share with someone to finally get it out there and not just built up inside them. The movie showed great animation and organization throughout the show. There was one thing that could have been better about the movie which was how they could have explained how long it took the mom to finally get over her depression state and how the bird really did change it for her instead of just telling us that the bird did have an impact; why did it have the impact? Despite this minor plot hole, the cast did a fantastic job creating the story with their acting. They showed how the story happened and how it touched many lives. This was a good, heartfelt movie that inspires people with the message: no matter what struggles you go through, there is always some type of light that can bring you from that dark spot you are in.
