Carter High School has announced the school fees to help cover the dues for the 2019-2020 school year. The senior fee for the upcoming graduates is $25, and the money collected will provide the diplomas and the graduation ceremony. There are also the fees that apply to all grades, the $10 student fee and the $15 technology fee that goes towards supplying the essentials such as printer ink and stationary. The collected money will also work towards updating Carter’s technology areas, such as the library, and replacing bulbs within the buildings. “We’re looking towards replacing some of our computers.” Ms. Davenport, the librarian, said after being asked about some of the possible updates. She explains after that the replacements would be provided for future students and last for the next couple of years to come. When asked about the deadline for the fees to be turned in, Ms. Eastridge, the bookkeeper, answered, “I’d like it by February 28th,” but they can be turned in at any time during hive on Wednesdays before then.
